Adref Shop
The Adref Charity shop opened in July 2011 and is just down the road from the Mill Street hostel in Pontypridd - click here for a map. It serves 3 purposes:-
- To offer our service users a chance to experience a workplace and develop skills.
Our training programme is accredited with Agored Cymru. - To inform local people that housing and homelessness is an issue in the valleys and that Adref exists to combat it
- To raise funds to meet the shop’s own costs.
Donations and Volunteers
Adref is always looking for good quality clothing and bric-a-brac to sell you can drop it off, or give us call and we will collect at a convenient time. We also need volunteers to help serve, sort and support in the shop.
Businesses
We are hoping to encourage people working in the Pontypridd to donate one good quality item every so often to the shop. We can come chat to your staff informally about our work in the area or just leave our information boards for a couple of days and then return and pick up any donations.
