How we are Funded & How you can Help

Adref is an Accredited Support Provider with the Welsh Government. This means that we work to nationally recognised standards that are monitored for quality and cost effectiveness. We are also audited by the local authorities we work with.

Adref also funds project from our own reserves.

If we get a donation from an individual, it is normally kept separate from the charity’s administrative funds and spent exclusively on activities, services or goods for our service users. In the recent past this has meant that:

• A service user received money to buy a suit and get transport to a family member’s funeral
• We bought some basic, second-hand furniture for a homeless person moving into an unfurnished flat
• We were able to help buy items that allowed a service user start college
