Managing a number of innovative
schemes providing supported housing, Adref works in partnership with amongst
others:
There are three different projects that are open at the moment, and we expect to have another two opening by the middle of 2004. The Old bakery is based in Aberdare and houses six young people (aged 16-24), The Night shelter is a project based in Pontypridd that offers a ‘bed for the night’, and Garth Villas is a Direct Access hostel which is based in Merthyr. We also have a support project called L.A.T.S.S which was set up to provide support for vulnerable single people in council accommodation, and a ‘Newstart’ team that deals with prison leavers and individuals that are on probation. |
