Projects
We currently have 5 projects but we are considering 2 new ones for 2004. The current projects are listed below. To see more information about them click on the picture.
The Old Bakery Housing Project:
The project provides supported housing for six 16-18 year olds, with medium to high support needs. Three full time project staff are employed to deliver support through Individual Support Plans, key workand general counselling and support. The project also provides tenants with a structured move-on package and has nomintion rights with local housing associations.
Nightshelter:
The project operates in Pontypridd and provides emergency overnight accommodation for homeless people.
Direct Access:
The direct accesss hostel in Merthyr Tydfil opened in February 2003 and provides 24 hour supported accommodation and structured move-on. A second hostel will open in Pontypridd early next year.
Education, Training and Employment:
The project's aim is to encourage tenant's throughout Adref's supported housing schemes to make constructive use of their time.
It gives individual help, advice and support in accessing suitable training courses returning to full or part time education and entering employment.
